Food 4 Lovers Series # 4
1:01PM on February 06, 2010
It is that time again. Food 4 Lover's Blog time! And it is Valentine's Day, So for this little party, this is how I would set up. Make sure these recipes have been fully prepared and set aside, covered, in a warm oven to keep warm should they be served warm. A warm oven is set to 200 max! If you are planning to wait to serve for an hour or longer you may want to heat the oven to say 350 for 25-30 minutes. Then turn off the heat and add your food. This will keep it hot while you are busy but not continue to cook your food. If this is not something you can do or don't want to over do the shrimp try the steam method. Heat water to boiling in a pan that your plate will fit over and then turn off. Place ceramic or stone plate or platter over pan like a lid to keep just the plate warm. Cover your food. All your supplies for serving should already be set out and waiting for you.
I love the idea of an intimate bath for two. So make sure your home and the bathroom are well heated. Always make sure to use mood lighting, so turn off that crazy florescent bulb and get you some candles. *Hint: tea-lights are small. You will have to use a lot of them to get good illumination. Play with the scent and the amounts of candles and sizes of your candles. You can use a lot or just a few depending on your bathroom size and set up. Don't spend a lot. For tonight, go to the dollar store. CVS sells a bag of 50 tea-lights for about 7 bucks. Florists sell bags of rose petals or other flower petals with prices as low as 2 bucks. Get them. They are beautiful in a bubble bath and help to scent the room. Scent plays a big part in your chemical sexual response, so use it. Don't run water until you and your lover are almost ready to get in. To ensure your bath is warm enough for you and your lover, run the bath with any bubble or salt additions a little warmer then you would like. That way while you are getting your lover and getting ready to get in the water it is cooling. Make sure to allow proper time to cool before you go get your lover because a burned toe kills the mood asap! Blind fold your lover keeping what you have done a secret. And then when the bathroom is completely set up you can reveal what you have done and not only will your lover be surprised and touched by your caring nature, he or she will also now have their mind-frame completely where it should be! ;)
Now personally I hope you have set up your video recorder! This is an intimate Vday surprise or gift for your lover! The bath, the food, and your presence is all a gift to them! In addition to anything you may have actually bought them. You don't think they would LOVE a special video of the experience to keep???
So get your lover into the tub gently. Get comfy. Enjoy your closeness and just the intimacy of bathing with a partner! Do NOT cheapen this by trying to have sex the minute you get in, folks! You have a lot more in-store for you and your lover so draw this out. Make sure that you use soft washcloths, folks. They feel better and will make this feel more like a massage to your lover! When the water is starting to feel less warm and bubbles are fading, Hop on out by telling your lover they can stay and relax while you get the rest of your surprise for them ready. Throw on that robe and head downstairs. It's food and drink time. Make your drinks and go deliver this to your partner while they relax in that tub! You just bought yourself some more time! Go get the plates. I would serve the shrimp cocktail on a big platter for you both to pick from and the crab cakes is what I would put on pretty individual desert plates with just a dollop of sauce. Remember if you are on a diet to say no to the sauces and yes to the food. Eat less at a time and give yourself plenty of time to feel full. Don't deprive your lover, feed them from your fingers. This is very sexy and intimate. REFUSE TO TALK WORK, KIDS, FAMILY, OR FINACES TONIGHT!!! Instead talk about each other and you will find you enjoy the time better plus you will feel closer to your partner. Been together too long for that? Never, ask your partner what has changed in their mind about your head skills or your riding dick skills or eating pussy skills. Or ask your partner what porn they saw recently that made them excited! You would be surprised at their answers and don't you dare get offended! This should help you be a better lover! If you aren't willing to take this as an opportunity to know your lover better then agree to sit in silence. NO FIGHTING ALLOWED! :)
Enjoy your Valentine's Day with your lover, however you decide to romance. I hope you enjoy these recipes and the tips on how to possibly turn up the heat in your relationships. A person who is sexual and emotionally satisfied will look & feel better so never be afraid to try more or do more! We are what we eat!

Bellini
Invented at Harry's Bar in Venice, the Bellini is best when made with ripe peaches. If peaches aren't in season, try creme de peche (peach syrup). Use a 1:4 ratio of syrup to prosecco. Or any champagne.

Food Blog Series
4:29PM on October 24, 2009
i was discussing with a buddy in my live house recently a new blog series...I don't have a title yet but the idea is to exchange recipes and ideas for fun foods for the bedroom(or other rooms) for you and your partners to share. The idea is for these recipes be easy to prepare and easy to feed to each other. Encorporating your everyday in a new way can be an easy and new addition to your intamacy! So with this in mind and befor any recipes are given; I would like to start with some tips for how to go about these types of situations...
1) Planning is going to be key at first. But then as time goes by and comfort levels grow this is something you should be able to do for your partner at any time! you will get so you know your partners food turn ons and offs and you will feel comfortable in your own sexyness while feeding and eating.
2) be looking for new opprotunities and recipes to try at home. Remember for this to work all you need is a partner. trim served portion sizes by cutting things smaller. if it can fit on a fork, spoon, or finger it is worth a try. I have found appitizers work best but you can also cut small triangles in quiche, pies, tarts, or sandwiches. Play with temputures too. hot versus cold...Always have an acompaning drink... doesn't need to be alchohol but
does need to match well with what you are eating.
3) set the mood to where you are eating, make it intimate, make it fun, set a theme or just clean it up and light candles with a new rental on the bed when your partner walks in. Buy one larger bed tray instead of two small ones. The goal is to feed each other and get a lot of face to face time...
4) women, all tho men say they hate this shit, They are lying. They love it. and for the Men out there, this isnt hard nor rocket sience. This is simple stuff. most of the recipes you want to use are do a head, pop-in the oven type or served cold!
5) presenting food should always be done with style. the same goes for feeding your partner. Please do remember basic ediquette and be polite. So what if she chews slow. and no honey he doesn't need a huge half a sandwich bite to be satisfied. This food is food for your love life not food to stave off starvation!
So with all this being said let me move on for my first recipe installment:
Delectable Finger Food
1/2 loaf of favorite artisan breads (ficacio, multigrains, specialty baked goods section of
your grocery store. Be daring for this selection and pick something new)
3 diffrent fruit choices. (apples, pears, grapes, mango, pinapple) try mixing textures and
flavors here. pick one firm, one soft, and one medium textured fruit with diffrent degrees
of sweetness. Try a new fruit maybe like the ugly fruit or passion fruit. About 1/2 of a
large apple per person is the amount you should buy.
2 diffrent cheeses. make one a spreadable and one a firm cheese. or one that is very sharp
and one that is ultra creamy. Try alluette for a spreadable cheese that is flavored and
really creamy. I like the sharp vermount cheddar with apples and pears. baby swiss is great
with berries! Cheese can be expensive but don't scream at the sticker price. you only need a
small amount and the left over can be used creatively in other dishes. ( ie rice and veggies)
2 deli meat or specialty meat selections. Try smoked turkey and a pesto roast beef. have the
deli person slice one very thin and the other on a thick setting. Also play with your
lovers sense of texture here as well. Is the meat very rough on your tongue with a rich
flavor or more just melting away. If it has a lighter flavor cut that one thicker, and if it
has a full flavor that may over power fruit then slice thin. You need about 1/4 pound of
each meat. not very much so don't skimp on your price or how long you look. ask deli to try
slices. they don't mind. :)
1 bottle of Good Quality Wine. Not being a very indepth wine drinker, all i will say is ask
questions if you don't know. Tell the wine clerk exactly what you are eating and what tastes
you or your lover prefer. Take their recommendations into deep consideration. This is their
job folks. Be willing to try a new kind or taste. Not all expensive wines will be better so
if you have a budget for your night then be sure to express this when talking to the clerk.
Also ask for recommendations from friends or co-works who's opinion you value. Only one
bottle is purchased for this night. If you want more then go for more.
You will need fresh herbs and a toe of garlic with sum butter flavored pan spray. Olive oil
is always optioniol on these types of meal planning as well as vinigar.
SUPER FRUIT SAUCE DIP
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
Melt butter. Add brown sugar, bring to a smooth consistency and remove from heat, let cool a
few minutes. Add vanilla and sour cream. Keep refrigerated. Great for bananas, pineapple,
strawberries, kiwi or whatever you'd like.

Two weeks before I wanted to have my lil party for two I would pick my night, free both our schedules for some "movie night" and look up meats and fruits on the internet. I would just keep my idea for a week to get tastes in my mind and such. No sharing, folks. This is the beginning to having a great food party at home. I also sugjest you go and get one of those huge serving trays at your party supply store. pick a color or whatever to set your theme. your going to eat of this so make it count... :) Everyone has tons of sheets right, in diffrent colors. select one that matches your "theme" or maybe go down to the 2nd hand shop and pick one up for a couple bucks. Now you squirl these treasures away. Also get new pretty glasses as well as a cute cheese board and knife or spreader. these can be anything and the knives are cheap. Just remember you are serving your lover and your "theme".YOu have already picked the meat and fruit and cheeses right? 2 days befor your night you want to go get the wine and a wine bucket or inexpensive bucket that will match your theme and hold ice and the bottle. Also go buy the ingredients you need. Set everything off to the side in your fridge. The Day befor you night together make the fruit dip. REfridgerate. The day of your meeting
you want to make sure your bed is made and clean. Spread your sheet over the top of your comforter. This is now your table cloth. Slice fruit sprinkle lemon juice over slices on plate or sheet pan. (strawberries halve, grapes nothing, bannanas slice, melon wedge then slice, etc. think bite size.) cover with plastic wrap, pushing the plastic gently down ontop
of exposed fruit and wrap around. Slice small bite size strips or triangles from your specialty bread. rub the whole garlic clove over the rough sides of the bread and then fallow with your herbs. crush herbs in hand slightly to release oils befor you rub. change the herbs when they arent smelling anymore. spray a sheet pan. 10 min befor pop this pan into oven to warm bread to just toasted. Get your serving tray out when you pop in toast to
the oven. pour cool sauce into a decrative bowl with spoon. now in sections arrange fruit leaving room for cheese and bread... If you bought soft cheese in bowl let set out while you do this and leave room of to one side for this little bowl. then seperate the meat and arrange the thin strips to be easily lifted and rip into managable sections. the thicker meat i sugjest you slice in thicker strips...and then arrange for easy lifting. think colors
and play with your space to make this tray pleasing. then add your cheese slices if you chose a hard cheese. when bread is toased add this warm and your ready to go upstairs. Take the tray up first and place in a comfortable spot on the bed. Pull your ice and bottle from the fridge and settle you and your lover in place. now here is where i would take turns
blindfolding each other and feeding your blind partner. talk about what they like, don't. add cheese to fruit with or without dip then try bread. or meat. or meat around fruit. Thing flavor, texture combos. Then let your partner do the same. enjoy the feeling of your partner's fingers on your lips as the surprise flavors touch your tongue. This is supposed to be fun and relaxing so don't rush it. Maybe you will take the flavors from your lover's body or be fed by hand. maybe he/she will teaser you with textures or squeezed juice over ur lips... what will you do to tease your lover?
Enjoy!
