Many of you know Sun. He is a GREAT guy, a pretty cool mod and a HUGE afficianado of all things that fly! He would be what one might call "a pilot's pilot"! Well, Erin and I consider him a true friend and since I have been threatening to build something for him, we decided to do just that. Now, I KNOW he loves all things "jar-head" related so I could NOT resist building him something NAVY! LMAO!!! Well, the Navy DOES let a few grunts fly them but they have to watch them closely. Leathernecks tend to destroy the equipment. Marines have NO IDEA what a "light touch" means! Sun, you KNOW you want a REAL one! Well, we will be sending this 1/48th scale Hornet to you just to keep you drooling! By the way, she will be a Blue bird! Only the best for a good friend! Keep watching as the build progresses!
