Dream (Report It)

Desire sat down at the bar with Faith and as she finished her 2nd drink she told Faith about her recent discovery of a presence that is with her:

“I’ve been sleeping at night and it has been great. At night I crawl into my bed and feel this presence consume me. It warms me, touches me lightly tracing my curves, taking in the softness of my skin. This presence pulls the covers up and embraces me. Places faint fluttering kisses on my face. Faith looked a Desire and simply said, “What is that your second drink? You don’t need another drink you are talking crazy. Have you forgotten that RJ has a key? I mean hasn’t there been times when you woke up and he was in the house. How do you know it is not RJ coming in while you are sleeping, checking in on you? Now, I must say that is sweet I wish a man would check on me in the middle of the night.”

Desire thought about what Faith said and begins to think to herself, Faith has a point. There have been many nights when RJ has been in the house when I woke up in the morning. But I know him he’s sweet and thoughtful, but not that sweet or thoughtful. Besides it starts before I sleep. This presence is with me the second I crawl into bed, sometimes before. It is almost like this presence knows when I am getting ready for bed. I know it’s not the alcohol talking and I know for damn sure it is not RJ.

Desire told Faith she was tired of sitting she was going to dance, going to flirt, going to enjoy the night and all that it had to offer. Faith joined her and they lost themselves in the music, in the moment. Before they knew it hours had passed, they both had a sexy glistening glow from the sweat, smiling, happy, and tired as all hell. Desire and Faith scrolled through the club turning down both drinks and unwanted sexual advances, hailed two taxis’s, and went their separate ways but before parting Faith yelled, “SWEET DREAMS, tell RJ I THINK IT IS SWEET HE CHECKS IN ON YOU AT NIGHT!!” Desire rolled her eyes and yelled back “OK!” Once in her taxi Desire yelled DAMN IT. She got me. I know it is not RJ I just know it.

Desire went home logged on the Internet, checked her emails, and instant messages. She responded back to a few emails letting people know she would try her best to get back with them on custom orders and other things that they requested. She smiled at a few instant messages that she had missed and responded to others. Although it was late she took the laptop to the bathroom, hit the ITunes button and jumped in the shower. Desire let the warm water rush all over her body and relaxed. She washed away the sweat, smoke, alcohol, and sang her heart out as she grooved to the music. As he once again begin to taste Desire her back arched toes tightened; Desire was reaching for his head wanting to make his stop yet keep him going at the same time. Just then Desire was scared shitless; RJ was sitting next to her in the bed asking if she was ok.

Desire sat up looked around and simply asked ‘how long have u been here?’ RJ replied, ‘I just walked in, I heard you in here moving around and your breathing was getting heavy. I wanted to make sure you were ok.’ Desire smiled and said ‘I’m fine.’ RJ kissed her forehead and walked out. Desire smiled, lay back in bed, closed her eyes, touched her girly girl and cuddled up next to her cuddle buddy; even if he only came to her in her dreams.
