i broached this idea once before last spring and Toni said they were seeing if it was feasible but haven't heard anything so i figured i'd bring it up again:
i create multimedia projects and offer many digital services that don't fall under traditional rude categories such as video editing, screensavers, flipbooks, flash photo galleries etc. i'd like to offer these services to rudies thru the site instead of hoping they will actually travel to my site (utilizing pre-existing chips expedites this more effectively than having to make a purchase thru the net) but i can't with things the way they are-however, i have an idea-
since rude-hosting is now available, wouldn't it be possible to create a situation where the final product could be uploaded to a password protected page on a rude-hosted account? this way, rude could verify that the final digital product is in fact available to the end consumer (this was the main reason i believe digital services were halted last year)
of course i realize this idea would need tweaking and finessing but wanted to at least plant the seed...

I think this is a great idea. I hope they can investigate how to introduce it. So much is bought and sold purely online these days, so the Rude shop should, i think, embrace the technology of buying and seling services this way if its at all possible. .

Again I agree... with the hosting and all the production opportunities... there are alot of ways people can help other people doing things they just don't have to time to acquire the skills for - or they just don't want to - or just don't have the knack for it... either way digital downloads for music graphics or web pages etc would be a win win win situation ;-} I think ;-}}
