On a similar note: During Alana's show today, my Ops Actions box repeatedly reverted to the Group Shows listing page when it auto-refreshed.

my guess is that the Tech's might be working on site...these types of things seem to happen when there upgrading things...although I could be wrong

yeah i got that feeling too as the boards didn't always seem to refresh to the latest post but to a prior cached version - but that could have been a situation on my end too ;-}

Taking Forever To :
1 . Connect To Rude
2 . Load Any Page On Rude ( Shows LiveHouses Etc)
Any Other Website Works Good So It's Not My Internet Connection . I Hope It's A Maintenance Thing .

This always happens - If you check out Rude's ratings on the net you will see that the main comment about the site is that it is slow to load, but on a side note you may want to try clearing your cache.

Really??? Where does it say on the net that Rude is slow loading? I have never had any issues with loading any page on Rude.
So please tell me who or where this is said?

The only real issue I've had with things loading slow is when I try to open the MP3 player stuff while in FF... if I open in IE with it, it seems to work just fine but FF actually has script errors and crashes.... after it's lagged to it's death too.

I've seen it before Lake it's on the Alexa ratings http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/rude.com#
It actually says
" Average Load Time for Rude.com
Slow (2.668 Seconds), 80% of sites are faster."
It has always listed Rude as a slow site, I personally have rarely had a problem, but on occasion pages do take a while to load.

the only place i know it is always extremely long load time... for me... is the pit board... that 1 board for some reason takes 4ever... i'm mostly using FF but same thing on all browsers...
there are times vids take awhile and that may be why the average gets hit so much - if stats show people view vids proportionally or more than other pages... seems to me that may skew the ave. time higher... just a thought or 2 ;-}

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/rude.com# - it tells you here that 80 percent of sites on thenet are faster than rude
The page I find the slowest to load and has always been the slowest is the mail page
