As stated in the e-mail I sent you, create your database step by step. After you have done so you enter the information in that manner. (following the steps I gave you)
As far as connecting remotely I am not sure that the security settings for the hosting allows it. I will look into it further, but cannot think of a reason why you would need to.
Can you send me another mail telling me what you are trying to do? Maybe this will help me to figure out what it is you need.
