1. For the "free" clips. We should be able to 'select' the thumbnail. I just uploaded a clip and my thumbnail is a "blur" (transition).
2. For the "free" clips. We should be able to change/edit the titles... I udnerstand the pay attention blah blah blah bullshit but aint no one perfect. We make mistakes...

why not just bump the 2 threads that are already recently going on with these 2 ideas? People have already been commenting on them.

lol seems that way around here I have to agree! It is something that is in effect in other places (the picking another image thing at least!) so I can't see it being too hard to put in other places. The title thing I have no idea about though  would be nice to be able to be done though!

There's also the "boy who cried wolf" effect to consider. Too many threads about the same subject turns people off and they get fewer reads. Bumping may have a greater benefit because they'll see that the thread keeps drawing interest.

In response to both ideas. Delete the vid and upload it again. You will find that the exact same thumbnail will not appear and you have the chance to enter a new title.

Again, there is a risk. If people reading your shouts keep coming to a dead end because you've deleted the video, they'll eventually stop looking. Not to mention that every time you upload, it creates a new shout. Many people will block you if you do it too often.
Be careful.

it doesn't have to create a shout... but yes your right about the links... no second chance most of the time...and yes woody it is broken - hence the point of these threads.. to fix an error after the fact... and as I stated for now the only fix is PM suggestion - with McP's reservations about it... so yeah it is broken ;-}
