I think it would be awesome if we could run more than one computer for the live house that way we didn't have to have long cords running through the house to have all 4 cams on in different rooms. I am not even sure if that is possible but I just thought it would be nice.

I've suggested even an option to hook a 3rd 'remote' camera up a while back. Not sure if it was ever something that people liked or not but I know I'd also like the option to be able to run my main cams in the living/kitchen area but also be able to retreat to the bedroom for some cam2cam time or fun time but bring a 3rd camera with for it... not having to work it on the same computer ect.

Just an input from my side.
There is programs out there that shares your usb devices over a network connection.
I have not tested any if it works with webcams but it should be like any other device. A fast search on google for share usb devices over network gives you a few hits.
Me and Rose tried a wireless usb hub last summer it worked but it was not good we could run 2 cams on it if I remember right. I think it was some Belkin hub. It was around 100$. I would not recommend that though

Yep, I have one computer running my live house, she has one running hers, we have cables all over the house, we use another for group shows, and we each have one for chatting. We also have one for graphics work and one for music for shows. It would be nice if we could consolidate somehow, but one machine capable of doing it all would probably launch a nuclear attack in the process. lol

i dont think that is possible..i have the software that theone4rose is describing and it allows two or more computers to connect all usb drives as one , this way you dont have to unplug a harddrive,printer,etc in each computer you want to use..i can go in any computer and use it while its plug in the next computer but unfortunately this doesnt work with webcams(probably b/c it deals with live feed )which is understandable..so i doubt the broadcaster will be able to process to diferent computers utilizin one name/ip..but i guess the techs can let us know for sure

wonder if it'd work with something program wise running... perhaps a splitcam program and a program that allows you to run the computer say located in the living room from the computer your using in the bedroom... I know there is a name for this kind of program but for the life of me I can't remember it atm. Most likely it wouldn't be good for webcam feed still as it might slow it down to a snail pace from what I remember of them.
