If you´ve given him a free pass, then he immediately has free access to your cam. If it was a 24 hour pass, then it also automatically runs out after 24 hours, wether he was in your chat or not.
To assign him a moderator in your live house, go to your Rude Space, click on the MANAGE button by your live house section. When you scroll down you can assign mods.
For live shows you can assign your mod everytime you set up a new show, it´s on the set up page
