just curious if anyone else is having this problem-for about a week now i have had to constantly recconect my livehouse cams cause they disconnect without warning and i often have to refresh a frozen screen in live shows. now i know my tech so i've checked my up/down speeds, my pings and i've tried more than one browser so the issue is not one of those. just curious, because its happening many times a day now...

i'm a pretty hardcore fan (minus voyager and most of enterprise) but the Trek reboot really surprised me...i'm not shall we say a fan of orci & kurtzman's previous work (transformers don't piss on people) but i was frankly amazed at what they pulled off and how it sticks to canon...even though JJ abrams luvs his lens flares maybe a bit too much lol
i could have done without starfleet commander madea but thats a minor quibble...

i broached this idea once before last spring and Toni said they were seeing if it was feasible but haven't heard anything so i figured i'd bring it up again:
i create multimedia projects and offer many digital services that don't fall under traditional rude categories such as video editing, screensavers, flipbooks, flash photo galleries etc. i'd like to offer these services to rudies thru the site instead of hoping they will actually travel to my site (utilizing pre-existing chips expedites this more effectively than having to make a purchase thru the net) but i can't with things the way they are-however, i have an idea-
since rude-hosting is now available, wouldn't it be possible to create a situation where the final product could be uploaded to a password protected page on a rude-hosted account? this way, rude could verify that the final digital product is in fact available to the end consumer (this was the main reason i believe digital services were halted last year)
of course i realize this idea would need tweaking and finessing but wanted to at least plant the seed...
