Sometimes when you download the initial installer it can be possible to get a corrupt file in the download. So generally doing a repair basically redownloads all the files and gets u set back up for Rude Virtual

What kind of connection are you on and where are you located in the world? Also check to make sure you have the most updated drives for your hardware. If you have a firewall we can check into the settings on that as well. Sometimes that can also cause and interference between you and the server as well.

That could be an issue on your end with either your connection to the Rude Virtual server or it could possibly be an issue with your video card. The first thing that I would suggest you do is to make sure that your video card is up-to date. You can do that by going to the manufactures site or if its the default card in your PC/Laptop you can go to the site for the Computer or go and do a Windows Update.

The next thing I would suggest is make sure your getting a good connection to the server, preferably atleast a Cable/DSL connection is needed. I have heard some people say they can run Rude/RLC with a dialup connection but its not something I would suggest. You can check your connection to the server by going to Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt and your MS-DOS Screen should come up. Next you will want to type ping game.redlightcenter.com and it will give you a report that looks a little like this:

You need to pay close attention to where it says TIME that is your connection status to the server as long as its under 90/100ms at all times you should be ok, but anything over that can cause an interference in connection between you and the server which is also known as "Lag".

Hopefully this should help your issue if not please just check and make sure your system also meets the minimum requirements for Rude Virtual. its also good to check and make sure you have the most updated drives for your video card as well as the rest of your hardware.

Luna, the affiliate program you are looking for is done threw Utherverse. Unless you are interested in the Rude Affiliates Program you may want to try going to the forums there. You should be able to get more detailed info to your questions.

They seem to be all the same, both RedLightCenter and Utherverse are the same program, its just another site to download the program from. The only difference that I may see is that on the first two sites its an introduction, ones a login page and the third is the sign up sheet with your name as the referral on it. That would be the one you would want to use I assume to get credit for the signup unless you give them your username to add in on the others sites. Hope that answers your question.

As far as adding new things in Rude, well if you wanted to get alot of business I think that making it sort of like real world would be nice, have all the sex stuff, but also include some clubs for people to party in as well as possibly seeing if you could find some clothing stores or other stores that would be interested in bringing their business to virtual reality so that people could try clothes on in a virtual store.....what else could women ask for...not having to leave the house and see what stuff looks like on em without having to get harassed, could prove to be interesting.

One piece of advice I could give you mai and others to possibly cope with the no music deal until it is fixed is to listen to someones stream...I know its not a wanted alternative, but normally you can go to the Friends List and click on Search tab then select ALL and type in DJ_ and normally it will give you a list of DJ's currently online and normally they have a stream going another possibility would be to try out pandora.com its a pretty cool radio site you can create your own stations and such...I know its a bit of a hassle but it could help a little bit while your in the virtual world.. Well hope that helped you out a little and enjoy your time on Rude Virtual/RLC and hope to see you around :)
