Wizard's First Rule / The Legend of the Seeker

OK - I am totally stoked b/c I just watched a 'making of' show last night -- and it is all about the making of 'The Legend of the Seeker' which is a new TV series based on the books by Terry Goodkind, starting with Wizards First Rule. The only thing I did not like about the show so far is that Richard is smaller than I imagined him - but I will have to watch the show to see how that pans out - his presence could make up for that.
The show is being filmed in New Zealand - and I saw a lot of visual elements that were very similar to the LoTR trilogy.
Based on the 'making of' show, it looks to be an excellent rendering of the book. I am so glad to see some of my favorite novels come to light like this. The other one, that I have already been enjoying is "True Blood" which is based a series of Novels by Nancy Collins. That show is on HBO.
