What is RUDE worth to you?

This is a repost of my opinion from the rude boards about the new VIP purchase price.
I started thinking about this whole pissed off attitude that a lot of people are showing off on the boards. Complaining about the high cost of viewing RUDE led me to also think about this.....
"What luxuries do I spend 30$ a month?"
Because let's face it..... RUDE is a luxury item. We don''t need RUDE to survive. (most of us anyways...lol) So here is a short list of items that I commonly use 30$ on. Look at that list! 30$ doesn't go very far when you are buying everyday things. But if you really want the high high quality VIP attributes that are offered to you....I guess you need to re-think what is important to you in your life.
30$ luxuries for the average person =
6 packs of smokes
6 gallons of gas
30 dollar menu items
5 Fast food combos
9 cups of Starbucks coffee
1 (cheap) vibrator
1 body piercing
1 (very small) tattoo
1 month of crappy internet - dial up maybe?
3 visits to your local strip club
1 pair of cheap shoes
2 shirts at Hot Topic (on the clearance rack)
2 cds at Walmart
1 manicure or pedicure
1 visit to your local hair salon (that's if you just get a triim and shampoo)
1 used tire
2 dargon ball sets from conquer (an online game I play...lol)
20 peice set of bare minerals makeup on ebay
6 bath bombs from LUSH
Now let's take into consideration the average pay for a minimum wage job...
In my state it's about 6$ an hour....
5 hours of wok = 30$
Now take a look at my rude page....for that matter take a look at some of the producers pages that have been with RUDE for let's say.....more than a year.
Do you think that they put more than 5 hours of work into producing new and exciting content for you?
Here is the average time that I spend on one photo session:
1.Brainstorming new photo ops - at least an hour a week
2. Searching for just the right outfit or toy for my audience - at least another hour a week.
3. Setting up my photo area - at least an hour a month.
4. Preparing myself for a photo shoot. This includes makeup, hair, shaving, dressing etc - at least an hour.....sometimes longer.
5. Photo shoot , which averages between 200 and 1000 pictures - this can take at the minimum 2 hours and max 4 hours, because I take the pictures myself.
6. Editing (cropping and resizing), and choosing the very best pictures for my customers - 2 - 4 hours, depending the amount of pics that I have taken.
7, Posting new photot shoots - 10 min - an hour if the server is overloaded. I've had it take longer before when the server was being worked on or even when there were a jillion jobs a head of mine. But lately it's only taken about 5 -10 min. (thank you RUDE!)
8. Replying to comments and emails about photo shoots (because making sure that your customers know you care and hear them is important) - at least an hour a day.

an average set of pics in my gallery to rent is around 3$
9/3 = 3
Look at that..... I don't even make minimum wage to create a photo shoot. Something else to think about is that some of us only get about half of that cost....which averages to about $1.50 per rental, per shoot.
If we calcute the amount of times my 1 shoot needs to be rented.....so that I make minimum wage on it....you get about 5 rentals. That's just estimating in my mind , mind you.
I'll be honest.....I don't sell 5 copies of each photo shoot a month. but it doesn't matter to me....
If you take all of the above into consideration about RUDE and it's producers and staff you will see that most of us do this "job"....we work so hard on this "greedy" site......
because we love it.
We love what we do.
We are passionate about providing the very best content that we can offer.....
It's not because we are rolling in the dough....cause let's face it this doesn't pay my bills.....the revenue that I get from RUDE goes to buy those other luxury items like the ones that I listed above.
Maybe you should stop ...
and think about what kind of luxury items are important to you.
You can go somewhere else for your luxury....
You can get FREE internet porn and shoots online....
but remember....
You get what you pay for.
30$ a month......really is a decent and fair price to pay for unlimited viewings of non-premium items. If you don't have 30$ a month for this luxury....then you should be taking care of everyday priorities in your life before you take care of your fantasy fulfillment.
