After a bit of time away to deal with some family matters, I am back! I sure did miss all of you guys and girls while I was away. My house is slowly getting back to normal, so expect to see a lot more of me real soon! xoxoxo

Wet...and not in a good way!

Our house flooded on Wednesday. We had 9" of rain in less than 5 hours, and the house started taking on water around 8:30AM. We had 2" in our laundry room, storage room, bedroom, kitchen, and halfway into our dining room. We called the insurance company shortly after we saw the water coming in, and they said they no longer had flood insurance on our homeowner's policy. We were not aware nor informed of this, since the house has taken on water twice before (but never this much). We think that they took it out of our policy and "forgot" to tell us.
We have a call into FEMA and we are waiting for estimates on repairs. Our bedroom carpet was ruined, and the hardwoods in our dining room are warped. Luckily there is tile in the storage room, laundry room, and kitchen. Luckily we did not loose any furniture in our bedroom (or other parts of the house) because we moved it when we saw the water coming in.
We've already pulled up the carpet/padding in the bedroom, and the house is pretty much dry now. However; it smells awful! I've tried cleaning with everything, yet that nasty wet towel smell still lingers.
This is probably going to effect my perving abilities for a bit. :( Our bed will not fit in the other two bedrooms, so we are just putting the mattress/box springs down in the room I usually "play" in. It will be a very tight squeeze so I'm not sure I'll have room. The other room is not suitable, and there's really nowhere else in the house that's do-able either since I have multiple kitties.
To add to the stress, hubby was laid off work last Friday. He's already put his call into the unemployment office, so we'll see what happens. He already picked up a weekend job, but the bar flooded on Wednesday too. But, that money isn't going to pay the bills...grrrrr!
Ok, I'm done venting. Thanks to all of you who read my Clitter messages and were concerned...now you know what happened. I haven't been here at Rude long, but I have come to love all you pervs and I feel at home here more than any other site I've been on. So much so that I'm pretty much exclusive to Rude now. :)
Back to cleaning and rearranging while I watch/listen to the Darlington race....then it's F1 from Spain! Go Button! This is the high point of my week so far...lol :)

Oh no!! I am so sorry that has happened to ya'll. As someone who knows what it's like to have their home flooded ( happened a lot when I was growing up in Texas due to hurricanes @ my grandparents home ) I definately feel for you. I hope someone can help ya'll out. If you need someone to listen you know where to reach me. *hugs* |

Clitter, Twitter, Blogs & Social Butterfly-ism

Social media is everywhere. It's even invaded Rude in the form of Clitter, which I love! I admit, I use Twitter in my pervy and personal life (ask me for my pervy Twitter if you want it), so I really enjoy the Clitter feature here at Rude.
Do any of you lovely people use MySpace for perving? I tried it once, but the maturity level and the brightness/busy-ness of the pages instantly turned me off (and melted my contacts to my eyeballs!).
I've never had a Facebook page, or a LiveJournal, or any other type of social network website besides here at Rude. I've always been a private kind of person with my personal life and it amazes me what I see people putting out there for anyone to find.
So, tell me, do you think all of this social oriented media frenzy is just that, just a bunch of hype, or is it here to stay for good? Do you use any of them (you don't have to say which ones if you don't want to), and if so, what draws you to them? A curious computer geek girl wants to know. ;)

I personally dont care for twitter or any of its clones mostly for the simple reason that I could care less what most, if not all, people are doing all the time. I like to perv, be a voyeur, but really dont want to know that someone "took the dog for a walk" or is "eating lucky charms and the marshmallows rock!" Its like these people believe they are so important that thier ever move, action, thought needs to be posted online, just to keep me current on their lives. We all do mundane, boring things and twitter just seems to promote people to waste not only their time posting such trivial information, but also the time of those committed to reading such posts. IMO, if its not interesting enuf for you to write a short blog about, its probably worth my time reading. Blogs to me are pretty time wasting, but I'd rather read someone's blog then receive their twitters 20 times a day. |

I personally have a twitter account also but clitter is almost the same and I find myself not being conscious enough to update all this along with my yahoo messenger status so basically I dont use them. I see some that I follow on twitter telling about what a great crap they had or the cramps are killing me, me and boyfriend are eating granola.....I don't need or want to know theses things so why hang it out there. I use rude only as my place to share me with you. |

Need some relief from the tax man?

It's April 15th, and here in the states that means one thing...better have your taxes done and mailed in before midnight! This is one of the most stressful times of year for most of you, and especially in this economy.

I do like the music on your page, but my cam is built into my MacBook & if I run the sound through my receiver (have the total bumpin' club set up, hubby used to be in the music/dj biz) it'll kill the sound on the video. :( Any more suggestions? :) |

Experimentation & boredom

I got a little brave and decided to put a background image on my Rude page. I hate to say but I am so behind on the whole "pimping your page" thing. I am not a MySpace person, never had one and can't see me joining in the game this late. I love my little kitty skull image but maybe it looks a little busy? I'll probably end up changing it anyways, lol
Hubby left this morning going out of town for work. I really miss him when he's gone. The house is so quiet without him, and not knowing hardly anyone in this city makes it even more boring than it already is. I wish it was not that dreaded time of the month, I could be having fun on cam to cure the boredom! :-P
Oh well, that gives me an excuse to start on some spring cleaning. Sounds like fun, huh? :-)

I've been here two weeks so far, and I'm loving it! :) Everyone is so nice and I love the way the site works. I hope to be on cam here real soon, I've had a sinus infection and I don't think anyone wants to hear me all cloggy & miserable. If anyone has any tips on how the cam software/rooms run, that would be great. :)
I can't wait to feel better so I can 'meet' some of you great people! :)
Also, if you have any suggestions or something you'd like to see me film/take pics of, please let me know! I am submissive and I love taking requests & hearing your ideas gets me going...xxx
