So... I shot a BBW model... I love making women look hot :-)

Yesterday, I shot a "BBW" Model who goes as FoxxxyNyla who contacted me after I posted those self portraits against the blue -- I was in a totally "off" mood, and to be honest, I am getting bored of the blue wall. I'm not bored of furs or vintage inspired though  Nylaa wasn't too into the furs, though if I had my Buffalo rug out of storage... no one can resist that  !
The shoot ended up looking very 50s with her petticoat. She had bought blue clothes and makeup in anticipation of the wall, and I wish she'd brought darker clothes and less prints so the pictures would have flattered her as much as possible, but that's just be being a perfectionist  .
She really knew how to pose though, so we got some VERY good pics and I'm glad to have the experience of working with a larger woman and those images in my portfolio. Often, BBWs look at my portfolio and ask "so are you sure you can shoot me? I don't see anyone over a size 6 in your port!". So now I have something to show :)
It's interesting to see what wardrobe the model brings and how they do their makeup... though as I get more experienced working with other models as a photographer, I really want to push caking the eye makeup on, and the retro shots really need cheeks to be rouged.
I am also going to help her get her site up, and I referred her to Rude :-)
