Puttin' It Out There!
I've been inspired by Kristen_Marie's post on the General Board - 'Help The Girl Out Rude' and decided that the best way for ME to succeed with my own current weight loss program is to hold myself accountable by blogging and clittering about it! So that's what I'm doing! I don't want to mention particular diets or programs cause I think that what works for one might not work for another, we each need to discover what suits our lifestyle best if we are seeking to make a change for the better.
So here's my stats as of today. I began my current program June 4 and as of July 23 I'm down 19 pounds. That's almost 2 3/4 pounds a week average I think, which is a bit high but I was hospitalized 3 times so it's a bit off kilter. I hope to average 1-2 pounds a week but I know they'll be weeks when I may not lose. I'm learning a lot about portion control and that I need to eat limited starches and fats, which I used to avoid. Most of you know that I begin EVERY day with a walk along the beautiful Gulf Coast, and I'm hoping to supplement that with either a swim or an additional walk every day - I've been neglecting the pool lately. I need to dance more often also, and not just with a duck! lol
I hope you'll subscribe to my 'Clitter', which up until now I haven't found much use for. Now I'll post each week after my weigh in, with hopefully good news!
Encouragement and gifts of lingerie in smaller sizes are always welcome!

Hey Girl!
So glad I came across your blog post here. As you know I've been out of the loop on Rude, for both working and health reasons. This last year has been hell and meds added quite the 'baggage to my body. Makes me feel like hell, so I totally understand your determination! Now I have to work at it too and remove the fatty hitchhikers. So you have our full support and wish you many days of willpower.

I echo what deedee said. Love you just as you are BJ, but wishing you lots of luck in your programme. I usually try to put on weight sInce I started doing this, as I feel it looks sexier lol. People huh, we never satisfied :) :) Hope it goes well for you sweet lady. Lev xxx |

keep up the good work, BJ! but dont go too far too fast. eat small portions but several meals a day. you will see that you are more full but you still loose weight because your metabolism will speed up. so you wont have to work as hard. looking good is a state of mind. feeling good is a nessesity for life. remember, you are as beautiful as you feel. dont try so hard that you make yourself sick. we love you just the way you are.

I know exactly what you mean. I too want to lose weight. It is really hard for me. I am an emotional eater. I get stressed I eat. I have been stressed alot lately over different things going on in my life, but I am doing my best to not turn to food for comfort but my friend and love Tracy for comfort and understanding. Since my divorce I have lost a total of nearly 30 lbs. I didnt really do much trying to lose weight,but I think it was the fact that my biggest stress problem was finally gone lol. I just wanna lose some of my hips and my belly I was told not to lose my booty or boobs crossing fingers that doesn't happen. Anyways I am going lowcarb way of eating and I know it worked for me before I just need to learn to do what I did then to make it start working again. Ok I have went on and on and Im sure you are sick of it by now, but message me anytime for support love ya BJ!!! Congrats on the lose and loses to come. |
